Fun fact: The company sold out of Ranger XP Kinetics in only two hours after opening its initial order window for the unit. Polaris Commercial has incorporated that innovation into its offerings for commercial customers by introducing the Pro XD Kinetic. This addition complements the Pro XD family, which includes gas and diesel, full-size and mid-size, standard and crew models. Through Polaris’ exclusive 10-year partnership with Zero Motorcycles, the Pro XD Kinetic boasts an all-electric powertrain. This powerful UTV maintains the same 1,250-pound cargo and 2,500-pound towing capacity as a full-size gas or diesel Pro XD. The Pro XD offers On-Demand 4×4 or High Performance On-Demand True AWD/2WD/VersaTrac Turf Mode.

No Charging Infrastructure Needed

When it comes to charging, the Pro XD Kinetic is flexible. In fact, it comes with versatile charging options tailored to various electrification setups or the absence of such infrastructure. Users have the flexibility to charge the vehicle’s battery using a standard wall outlet or a generator with a comparable power output. This is beneficial for remote jobsites or during periods without established power sources. The convenience of charging with 110V power eliminates the need for new infrastructure. Moreover, the Pro XD Kinetic is adaptable to 220V, providing the option for fast charging up to 3 kW. A standard information center in the dash of the Pro XD Kinetic offers the driver a wealth of information. This includes power use, battery state of charge, battery temperature, and motor temperature.

In fact, Polaris Commercial says that scheduled maintenance costs for the Pro XD Kinetic are approximately 60 percent lower than the average maintenance expenses associated with comparable gas-powered vehicles. The electric powertrain of the Pro XD Kinetic eliminates the need for oil changes, filter replacements, spark plugs, and clutch maintenance, making these traditional upkeep tasks obsolete. The vehicle’s lithium-Ion battery is designed to last the vehicle’s lifetime, further supported by a five-year warranty from Polaris Commercial. This comprehensive warranty coverage allows users to concentrate more on getting work done, with less concern about potential disruptions. Finally, Polaris Commercial says that the Pro XD Kinetic is estimated to provide a five-year savings of $2,800 in fuel costs alone compared to the 2024 model year gas-powered Pro XD.
