Merchants Fleet, a leading fleet management company based in New England, has added a sizeable number of 2024 Chevy Silverado EV 4WT trucks to its lineup of electric vehicles. The number? It’s 250. These trucks are available for lease or rental through Merchants.
About the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV 4WT Truck
The Chevrolet Silverado EV 4WT truck is constructed on GM’s Ultium platform. It offers 510 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque. The 24-module Ultium battery pack provides up to 450 miles of range. And when it comes time to charge, the truck has standard DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. GM estimates that 100 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes using DC fast charging. Additionally, the truck offers up to 10.2 kW of offboard power with optional equipment. Merchants Fleet notes that the truck comes well-equipped for use by business operators and managers on the job site, while maintaining an appeal suitable for business executives. This substantial acquisition underscores the company’s dedication to offering a diverse array of vehicles. This commitment ensures that businesses across various industries can seamlessly transition to an electric fleet solution tailored to their specific needs.
Merchants Fleet Offers a Range of Leasing and Rental Options
The Silverado’s generous range alleviates range anxiety for drivers. Notably, the truck combines towing capability of up to 10,000 pounds and a payload exceeding 1,400 pounds. This makes it proficient at meeting a wide range of commercial needs. Merchants’ Electrification and Consulting team collaborates closely with clients to optimize total cost of ownership and deploy charging infrastructure efficiently. Also, it assists in securing available grants, incentives, and tax rebates for the Silverado EV and other zero-emission vehicles in their portfolio. Additionally, Merchants provides a range of leasing and rental options. The company offers a traditional lease or a long-term rental. Furthermore, options like Rent-to-Lease and EV Choice Lease cater to short-term needs with potential for long-term commitment or low-risk trials. There’s even Open-End Leasing and Rentals & Short-Term Leasing for needs as brief as three months.
Merchants ClearCharge Program
Of course, EVs need a charging infrastructure and Merchants helps with that too. In addition to numerous leasing and rental options for new EVs, the company’s ClearCharge program helps fleets organize, implement, and manage electric vehicle charging infrastructure. ClearCharge enables commercial fleets to plan, develop, and implement level 2 and 3 charging. It’s available for any size fleet.
