Electrify Expo, North America’s largest outdoor electric vehicle festival, has announced its 2024 schedule. The tour will swoop into eight locations throughout the U.S. Three of those locations are brand spankin’ new for 2024. Read on to learn about what you’ll see and do at Electrify Expo and for the details of the 2024 Electrify Expo schedule.

What is Electrify Expo?

Electrify Expo began in 2021 by holding festivals in three cities. It quickly established itself as a major player in the electrified event world. It really is a festival. Its many features include the opportunity to get hands-on with many forms of EVs. A typical Electrify Expo includes on-site electric cars, e-motorcycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards, e-watercraft, and much more. Additionally, Electrified Expo is geared for the entire family. Example: It includes an enormous kid’s zone filled with the latest in electric mobility.

Exhibitors and Food

One of the many cool things about Electrify Expo is that attendees can interact with representatives from some of the industry’s biggest electrified brands. This includes automotive companies, both domestic and international, as well as micromobility brands and early-stage companies. Demonstrations and test rides of products are common at Electrify Expo. In fact, there are multiple courses for you to ride an e-bike, e-scooter, e-skateboard, e-hoverboard, or e-motorcycle. And of course, electric cars and trucks are also available to drive. There’s even a “High Speed E-Bike Course” at the Austin event that’s designed for e-bikes that can travel over 25 mph. And you won’t need to worry about getting hungry at an Electrify Expo because there’s food available.

Electrify Showoff

Another facet of Electrify Expo is Showoff. It’s billed as North America’s largest gathering of customized electric vehicles. Showoff contains some of the wildest modified EVs you’ll see anywhere. It’s a place for automotive aftermarket brands, fabricators, and show car builders to show off their creations and products. Showoff is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, and more. It’s the brainchild of the management team at Showoff. This team is rooted in the subculture of customization trends and members are personally invested in driving the popularity and size of the EV customization industry. Showoff has its own vibe, atmosphere, and it’s a major thoroughfare at each Electrify Expo festival.

Industry Days

Electrify Expo also hosts two “Industry Days” at the Long Beach and Austin events. Industry Days feature product reveals and breaking news. Additionally, the brightest minds in the EV industry are on hand for fireside chats and panels. This offers the opportunity for attendees to network with industry stakeholders, government officials, and media members that are involved in electric transportation.

Eight-City Tour 2024

Electrify Expo will begin its eight-city 2024 season in March, and it will continue through November. Three new locations are on tap for 2024, which create even more options for those wishing to attend. The new cities are Orlando, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; and Denver, Colorado. Electrify Expo will conclude in Austin, Texas, showcasing 1 million square feet of exhibition and demo space.

Bringing People Together to Experience EVs

The founder and CEO of Electrify Expo, BJ Birtwell summed up Electrify Expo. “Experiencing EV products in an environment like Electrify Expo is a game changer. The whole point of our festival is to bring people together to experience EVs, whether it’s for the first time or if they’re ready to make that purchase. Interest, excitement, and demand for EVs will only continue to grow and we’re looking forward to expanding into new markets in 2024 while changing the landscape of how consumers engage with e-mobility brands.”
